Officers

YAs leaders of the sorority, sisters holding a chair position or an e-board position are expected to maintain a consistently high GPA and demonstrate exemplary attributes. There are various responsibilities which each position entails. Every sister puts forth the utmost effort for each position. Currently, we have 5 e-board positions and 17 chair positions for sisters to hold.

President - Amy Donovan

Picture
Hi! My name is Amy Donovan and I am currently a junior double majoring in political science and history. I’m from Brooklyn, New York and am currently one of the assistant news editors for Pipe Dream. I love spending time with my friends, watching Netflix originals and listening to Hamilton or Legally Blonde the Musical on repeat.

I joined Sigma in Spring 2016 and am a member of the Lambda class. I have gotten a lot out of being in Sigma. I have made amazing friendships that I know will last forever and have gained a lot of leadership experience through chair positions and being President. I am so excited to be President for the 2018 year and cannot wait to help make this empowering organization flourish.

Vice President - Paulina Weinreich

Hi! My name is Paulina Weinreich and I am a sophomore majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Leadership and Consulting. I am from North Woodmere, NY, a huge Dear Evan Hansen fan and can usually be found eating chocolate covered blueberries.

I joined Sigma as a member of the Nu pledge class. In my short time in Sigma, I have grown so much and learned a lot about myself. I could not be more grateful for the amazing friendships I have made and sisters that will last a lifetime. I am honored and privileged to serve as Vice President for this organization and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!!

Member at Large - Molly Heller

Hi! My name is Molly Heller and I am a sophomore studying Theater with concentrations in tech and marketing.  I live in Scarsdale, New York which is right outside of New York City, so if I am not at school, I am probably there. You can usually find me belting out show tunes, hanging with friends, at the gym or binge watching shows on Netflix.

I joined Sigma in the Fall off 2016 as a freshman and I am a very proud member of the Mu pledge class. I love Sigma so much because it has given me a home in college and I get to call so many kind, positive, beautiful and strong women my sisters. Through this organization, I have gained so many amazing skills and leadership opportunities, and have developed friendships that will last me a lifetime. It is an honor to be a leader in this chapter and that I have the opportunity to give back to the organization that has given me so much.

Secretary - Jessica Senzer

Hi, my name is Jess Senzer! I am a junior studying English Rhetoric and Spanish! I’m from Plainview, New York, and I am currently the secretary for One Special World, a campus tour guide, and a theme coordinator for BU Relay for Life.

I joined Sigma as a Lambda and served as 2 chair positions and then Vice President. I cannot wait to continue to serve and partake in the growth of this incredible organization. Sigma has provided me with some of my best friends and I am forever grateful for that. I’m so pumped to watch this sisterhood continue to prosper!

           Treasurer-Alexandra Baker

Hi! My name is Alex Baker and I’m a junior majoring in Math and English. I hope to become a high school math teacher one day (one of the cool, chill ones you know)! I’m from Plainview, New York and I love randomly singing at all times, scrolling through Facebook and tagging people in memes, drinking/making coffee (i used to work at Starbucks) and playing with puppies (because who doesn’t?).

I joined Sigma in the spring of 2016 and I’m a member of the Lambda pledge class. Sigma has given me so much whether it be an incredible group of friends who always has my back, a place where I can truly be myself, or some amazing and unique opportunities to grow as a leader and an individual. I am truly grateful to have joined this special organization and I am so excited to be on Eboard this year!
