Officers

As leaders of the sorority, sisters holding a chair position or an e-board position are expected to maintain a consistently high GPA and demonstrate exemplary attributes. There are various responsibilities which each position entails. Every sister puts forth the utmost effort for each position. Currently, we have 5 e-board positions and 15 chair positions for sisters to hold.

President - Shayna Monasch

Picture
Hi! My name is Shayna Monasch and I am a Senior majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Law (PPL), and minoring in Anthropology. I’m from Westchester County, NY. In addition to being President of our SAEPi chapter, I am also the Director of Shabbat Experience for Hillel! Outside of SAEPi, I love to cook and watch reruns of Saturday Night Live, and you can always find me in either the Hillel Office or in the Marketplace booths with my SAEPi sisters!

I joined SAEPi in the Spring of 2020, as a member of the Tau new member class, right before Covid hit. Despite being online for the first year and a half of my time in SAEPi, my love for the organization and my sisters grew immensely. I can genuinely say that I have found my forever friends in SAEPi, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Prior to the presidency, I was Rush Chair for Spring 2021, and Philanthropy Chair this past fall; two positions that have such a positive impact on the values and future of the sisterhood. I am so honored to be a part of a sisterhood that prides itself on the incredibly strong and compassionate women that make it up, and I am so honored that I can contribute to making everyone’s experience in SAEPi as fulfilling as it has been for me!

Vice President - Danielle Horowitz

Picture
Hi! My name is Danielle Horowitz and I am a Junior with a major in Human Development. I am from Ocean, New Jersey- otherwise known as the Jersey Shore! In addition to being the Vice President of SAEPi, I am a Development Intern at Hillel. When I’m not doing things for Sigma, working, or studying, you can find me with other Sigma sisters, walking around campus or downtown, or getting a cup of coffee!
I joined Sigma in the Spring of 2020 as a part of the Tau new member class! Joining SAEPi was undoubtedly the best decision of my college career and gave me a family at Binghamton. I know that the connections I’ve made with each and every sister will last a lifetime. I cannot wait to be the Vice President of an organization that has given me so much.

Hello! My name is Kiana Blandin and I am a junior majoring in integrative neuroscience with a minor in Spanish and I’m from Long Island, NY. When I’m not doing Sigma things you can find me taking walks downtown, hanging out with sisters or working at Dunkin’!

I joined Sigma in the Spring of 2021 as part of the Phi class. Although my time in the sisterhood has been short, it’s already been so life changing. I’ve met some of my best friends, made endless memories and met people that I can truly rely on. I am so excited for the future of SAEPi and our sisterhood and am so happy to be working as secretary for this incredible sisterhood!
